2012_11_18_4185 The Okanagan Historical Society maintains two properties within the Valley.

In 1970 the Fairview Lots were acquired by the Okanagan Historical Society. These lots are the only property that the Okanagan Historical Society owns. In 1987 the Oliver\ Osoyoos Branch built an information kiosk and a stone cairn to commemorate the site of the old Fairview Presbyterian Church.

The Father Pandosy Mission is cared for and maintained by a volunteer committee who is dedicated to the administration, organization, building, creating and installation of infrastructure for this historic landmark. The Father Pandosy Mission Committee has worked tirelessly to
elevate the heritage value of the site in order to ensure that residents and visitors to the community understand the significance, connection and pride Kelowna has for its founding location.
